Last Tuesday, we celebrated the official inauguration of the adapted and inclusive leisure park for children with and without disabilities. This inauguration was a joint project with the CEIP Bosque Schools.
As explained before, the Community of Madrid took on the task of remodelling the patio and Lukas Foundation promoted the park, and provided the games and play equipment. The children can play with these toys and enjoy shared leisure time in this all inclusive leisure park. Fundamental in achieving this dream have been the support of the Board of the CEIP Schools Forest and Sandra Pereira’s project (architect and mother of a student with motor disabilities at the school).
It was a very special day, in which we remember the importance that every child has the right to play.
