The words Summer School always bring to mind are “smiles” and “good times,” and there was much of both this first week of the Summer School 2019! Summer School 2019 kicked off with one of the children’s favorite activities: the excursion to the San Vicente del Raspeig Fire Station. It is no wonder the children love it – the firemen were great and let our boys and girls try on their special suits, get into the cab of the truck and the helicopter, and they even let them play with the hose! And to put the icing on the cake, they gave them backpacks, hats, and other gifts, which are already treasured memories of that beautiful morning.
During the first week, there were also trips to the beach, water games in the adapted garden, a music therapy workshop, a relaxation workshop and rides with adapted bikes – all fun activities that create dozens of smiles from all participants: caregivers, children, youth and volunteers.

We want to especially thank our volunteers, who are participating in the School and sharing their time with our children in order to help improve their quality of life.
The School will remain active until July 26, and we are sure that we still have many beautiful and exciting moments to look forward to with our kids.
