At the end of June our project to resume the Family Respite Programme ‘Respiros, ocio y tiempo libre’ (Relief, leisure and free time) was one of the 22 winners of the III Convocatoria Solidaria BBVA Futuro Sostenible ISR, funded by the BBVA solidarity fund. And thanks to their donation of €35,000 we have already been able to take the first steps to prepare everything, so that our programmes will be in place for the vacations.
The project includes the construction of a hut to be able to do the activities of the programme safely, and as you can see the works are progressing well:
The preparations are advancing on schedule and we hope that very soon we will be able to resume the family support activities that we have had stopped during the last months because of covid-19. This would be a wonderful achievement and it makes us immensely happy.
Once again we reiterate our thanks to all those who make up BBVA Asset Management in Spain for their commitment to our cause since we walked the Camino de Santiago with them a few years ago, and of course to all the people who have made this project possible. We are all stronger together!
