Last Saturday we enjoyed a fantastic day thanks to an event organized by the Association Lola Busca Nueva Imagen in Plaza Seneca in Alicante. 20 associations and foundations came together to celebrate Rare Disease Day 2018 and show that together, anything is possible.
The main objective of the day was to inform about rare diseases and bring this reality to a wider audience and to achieve this, activities through a programme of lectures, short films, workshops (photography, face painting, characterization…), dancing, games, etc.
One of the most popular activities was the batucada, (a festive dance,) although the activity of the film specialist and the photocall with the Star Wars characters were not far behind.
We would like to thank Lola Busca Nueva Imagen for allowing us to participate with them in this special celebration, and all the people who came to it, for their commitment and interest in improving our world.
